GMP accreditation for Cannatrek

Hemp Gazette reports that Cannatrek has attained Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) accreditation for its $5 million Shepparton facility in Victoria. Supported by the Victorian Government, this is part of Cannatrek’s broader $17 million investment in the region, set to generate 70 local jobs within three years. Tommy Huppert, CEO of Cannatrek, highlighted the accreditation as a pivotal step for the company, expanding the local job market and career development. Northern Victoria’s representative Jaclyn Symes applauds the initiative, seeing Shepparton leading the way in plant-based medicine production. The GMP status will also boost international export opportunities.
