Australian medicinal company Cannatrek has opened a new manufacturing site in Greater Shepparton after receiving support through the Victorian government’s Regional Jobs Fund.

Cannatrek’s Greater Shepparton site features a multi-million-dollar plant-based medicine outdoor growth facility, which includes an indoor cultivation area and post-harvest facility that handles packaging, storage, and distribution across the country.

The new facility is expected to create 76 new jobs in the region. Cannatrek is invested in building a workforce in Victoria and putting Shepparton and the Goulburn Valley on the map for Australia in plant-based medicine cultivation and manufacturing.
