Accessing plant-based medicine for a patient

If you decide that ‘unapproved’ plant-based medicine products are clinically appropriate for your patient, there are four access pathways:

  • Authorised Prescriber – Established History of Use pathway
  • Authorised Prescriber – Standard pathway
  • SAS Category A notification pathway
  • SAS Category B application pathway
